FACADE RHOMBUSES

If you want to breathe a new life into the facade of your building and distinguish it from the general mass with the “Hi-Tech” style, then the facade rhombs are what you need.

The fundamental difference between facade rhombuses and other ventilated facades is that on standard “pie” (brackets, insulation, windshield, load profiles), OSB sheets are mounted on which rhombuses are laid out. 

The diamonds can be of various shapes and sizes with different layouts.

Installation should begin with the installation of the starting plate. Next, with the help of the clips, the starting diamonds are mounted, on which the basic diamonds are mounted.

Purpose and scope


The system “Termastil” is intended for facade finishing and thermal insulation of external walls in accordance with the requirements of DBN B.2.6-31: 2006 and DBN B.1.2-10-2008.

The system is recommended to be used for buildings under construction and reconstructed with bearing structures of external walls made of full-bricks or concrete of class B15 and higher.

Constructive solution of the system

The ventilated facade system is a multilayered construction that is attached from the outside of the bearing structures of the outer wall and consists of a supporting frame, a layer of a non-combustible mineral wool insulation covered by a waterproofing windproof membrane  and a facing layer. Between the layers of insulation and cladding a ventilated air gap is set up, by means of which the moisture accumulating in the insulation can be effectively removed.

It is possible to use the “Thermastil” system only for facade decoration of buildings. In this case, the insulation layer is missing.

The supporting frame of the “Thermastil” system includes brackets and a vertical supporting profile (“U”-shaped plank).

Brackets are fixed to the wall with anchor dowels through a thermal insulation gasket, after which a vertical profile is connected to their free ends using steel rivets st/st or self-tapping screws, and, in turn, the elements of the facade facing the building are fastened to it.

 Brackets are functionally and metrically designed as carriers and fixing (supporting). Bearers perceive vertical and horizontal loads, fixing – only horizontal. The mounting bracket for the carrier brackets consists of two identical brackets. Support brackets are installed in the “staggered” order with a pitch of approximately 0.7 m.
